Private Lessons

30 min, $25 per lesson/student (piano, cello, or vocal)

All Ages

Piano or Cello: These private instrumental lessons are designed for beginners who want to gain a basic understanding of how to play the piano or cello. Our focus will be on learning the technique of the instrument and gaining practical skills to play along with chord charts.

Vocal: These private vocal lessons are open to all ages (including adults!) as we explore vocal techniques, skills, and performance pieces for your unique voice!

Group Piano Lessons

30 min, $18 per lesson/student (2-3 students)

Pre-Elementary,  Early Elementary, Late Elementary, Middle School & High School Grouping

These lessons are an introduction to piano for beginners. We will grasp a basic understanding of reading music, along with introducing chords and scales. The heart of this time is to lay the foundation of the piano through a practical approach to playing music. The pacing of this class is slower than our private lessons, but it still gives students a wonderful exploration of the piano! Pairing and timing for these classes will be based on interest, and there must be a minimum of two students to begin.

Group Vocal Lessons

30 min, $18 per lesson/student (2-4 students)

Pre-Elementary,  Early Elementary, Late Elementary, Middle School & High School Grouping

These lessons are designed for students to grow in vocal skills and technique, while enjoying the delights of singing with others. We will practice through warm-ups, breathing exercises, vowel concentration, solfege, songs, and more! This is a wonderful opportunity to receive individual growth and instruction within the safety of a group! Pairing and timing for these lessons will be based on interest and there must be a minimum of two students to begin.

Laura Kittinger

Our last name, Kittinger (KIT-ing-grrrrr), means “house of song,” and it is my pleasure to share in the gift of song with others. I have a degree in Music Education from Oklahoma Baptist University with a certification to teach vocal and instrumental music in grades K-12. Over the years, I have taught middle school choir and private lessons, led choir camps, played cello in a variety of performing and recording contexts, and fostered a love for music in the hearts of our own three kids. It is my joy to open our house of song to other families this season.

our vision

I believe each one of us carries a unique gift. When we bring that gift into a group, we create something entirely new together. Music is my favorite way to express and celebrate this beautiful way that we are made. Music unlocks us and frees us, and each of our lessons and classes is crafted to provide a safe and encouraging way to learn and develop the gift of song inside of us. In addition to private lessons, we also offer a variety of group classes, giving each student an opportunity to grow as an individual while also shaping and being shaped by the other students around them.

"Laura is a wonderfully enthusiastic teacher! Her passion for music is felt and caught by her students. I have sung in several Church choirs over the years, and I learned more about the fundamentals of Choir from Laura in watching her teach one 2-hour Choir Class than I had ever been taught before!"

Jenny Anklam, Mother & Teacher
